Chris Oswald started doing crosswords in college. In the New York Daily News of all places. He’s kind of good at it now! When he is not solving, he’s either working as a school librarian, riding his bike, or reading a book.

Matthew Sewell has constructed crossword puzzles for most major venues, including regular contributions to Newsday’s Saturday Stumper since 2016. He is also a long-time test-solver for Boswords, and recently became part of the New York Times Games testing team. Outside of crosswords, he teaches film and literature for Minnesota State University, specializing in animation history.
